Emma Larsen has been a member of the Whittier Miscellany for four years: writer, features editor, extras editor, and, now, manager. Emma is an active member in Whittier, publishing on the website, updating the Instagram, and helping all members navigate online tools required for publish. In school, she is an athlete, a clerk of Random Acts of Kindness, the teacher’s assistant for IB SL Chemistry, and is a member of multiple clubs. Outside of school, Emma loves to hang out with friends, work-out, walk her dog, and play tennis. Emma got involved in Whittier because she has always loved writing, especially poetry, and sharing her ideas with the community. In grade nine, Emma won a poetry contest in Delaware, finishing in 1st place for her poem, Reflections of her Father. Now, she wishes to help others share their ideas with confidence, and become better writers.
